Would you like to practice like a pro? Or maybe you love watching your buddies struggle over a two-foot putt. At Optimal Performance Golf we have everything you need to improve your golf game and have fun with your friends.

Our desire is to provide the best product for our customers, and after countless hours of testing and research it became clear that aboutGOLF was offering a superb product. After decades of testing and evolving, aboutGOLF’s 3 Trak system offers the most reliable and realistic data in an indoor setting. The camera-based technology takes between 20 and 45 pictures of the ball and the club moving through impact which then allows the system to calculate nearly perfect ball flight simulations. The camera’s give the system the ability to track ball speed, angle of attack, club speed, launch angle, spin and the centeredness of contact at the highest levels currently available.

In addition to the 3Trak System we also wanted to enhance the technology for our teachers. By adding the aG Balance Pro and aG Flix to our teaching bays, we can allow players to train like professionals. These systems show analytical data about a player’s balance, pressure and weight shift while watching a synchronized video of the actual swing. These graphics can be presented on the screen after each swing in an easy-to-understand format, giving players the ability to visually understand cause and effect.

aboutGOLF allows us to store this data and track each players progression with the aG Locker system. This will give players the ability to evaluate practice sessions and share data with coach’s so that progress can be evaluated between lessons and compared over time.

aboutGOLF’s Suite Of Ball Strike Games

UP TO 8 PLAYERS CAN COMPETE

RAZOR’S EDGE

Driving accuracy: Hit as straight and as far as feasible, but with an added challenge. Each player gets five shots to score as many points as possible based on distance and fairway placement. After each shot, the edges of the fairway crumbles into the sea, making the next shot that much more complex. The margin of error becomes razor thin.

BEND-IT

Shot shaping: Players must hit a green that is protected by a series of forcefield obstacles. Each player gets three shots with challenges include hitting a straight, high, low, fade, or draw, garnering points with each green made. The player with the most points wins, with a tiebreaker for closest to any pin.

F-O-R-E

Accuracy: Like the game H-O-R-S-E in basketball, this multiplayer game’s goal is to hit a green and be the closest to the pin. Choose from a wide range of hole distances, locations, and elevations. The last player standing who does not spell out F-O-R-E wins the match.

CONQUEST

Accuracy: A new take on “capture the flag,” each player must capture as much territory as possible by landing on as many greens as he/she can. A flag is raised above each captured green, and the first player with five captured greens wins the game. If the game results in a tie, there is a tiebreaker based on closest distance to any pin.

aboutGOLF® FLIX

VIDEO ANALYSIS SYSTEM

Integrate aG Flix with any 3Trak-powered aboutGolf technology, including the aboutGolf Simulator, aG Studio or aG Mobile for world-class swing analysis and instruction.

SYNCHRONIZED ANALYSIS

aG Flix video is time stamped by the system, enabling synchronization at the instant of impact. It can also be integrated with data from aG Balance Pro, allowing side-byside display and more ways to view and analyze results.

HIGH QUALITY VIDEO

aG Flix provides new, high-quality color video of the swing from every angle. aG Flix is also available in black and white, as needed. aG Flix employs Interrupted Interlacing, a process that produces cleaner, smoother video.

MULTIPLE SWING SEQUENCING

Analyze multiple swings in sync. Evaluate a swing over time, evaluate a swing from multiple angles or compare a swing with a professional using multiple swing sequencing.

TEACHING TOOLS

Drawing and analysis software options enable the teacher to dissect the swing, annotate elements of the swing and compare performance to available pro videos.

LIVE VIEW

Observe the swing on screen in real time. When set to live view, the image will move in time with the player’s movements.

STOP IMAGE AT IMPACT

aG Flix is guaranteed to capture high quality video at the moment of impact to further enhance swing analysis.

aboutGOLF® BALANCE PRO

CENTER OF BALANCE ANALYSIS

Integrate aG Balance Pro with any 3Trak-powered aboutGOLF technology, including the aboutGOLF Simulator, aG Studio and aG Mobile, or use it independently for worldclass swing balance analysis and instruction. aG Balance Pro features aboutGolf’s Perform Pro software.

DUAL FORCE PLATE TECHNOLOGY

With dual force plate technology, aG Balance Pro provides comprehensive data for evaluating player swing profiles, including the distribution of weight left to right and front to back for each foot.

SYNCHRONIZED DATA

All swing/balance data is time stamped and synchronized to the swing motion and instant of impact. Perform Pro software encourages integration of aG Flix, providing time synchronized Swing Video for analysis side-by-side with aG Balance Pro.

FOOT TRACKING

Use foot tracking to track real-time footprints for a measurement on front/back and inside/outside force for each foot. Integration with 3Trak technology adds the measurement from the player to the ball and the ball’s “stance position”

PERFORM PRO

aG Balance Pro data is presented in easy to understand visual graphics, as well as detailed data tables to support scientific analysis.

FLEXIBLE ANALYSIS

Center of Balance (COB) for the feet, the body, or both simultaneously is displayed in a top view graph, with colored sequence pistons. Analysis graphs are available with a single click. Data is also displayed numerically as percentage of force weight and as weight in empirical or metric measurements.

REPORTED DATA

  • Center of balance for each foot & sequenced foot tracking
  • Force magnitude in lbs and kilograms
  • Sequenced left/right foot force distribution
  • Sequenced front/back percent of distribution
  • Distance of player from ball
